Polly Maton
Polly has no lower right arm,
And came 7th in the long jump,
Of the T47 final in Rio’s swarm,
To manage a 5.10m long jump.
Rio was her debut - she’s 16,
And she’s coached, trained,
By Colin Baross who’s been,
Bath Uni sports engrained.
She says Rio was, to ponder,
“Overwhelming” but also,
“Amazing,” and to consider,
The experience will be dough.
“The Brazilian crowd has been
amazing. I’ve never, [pass]
experienced a stadium, [seen],
a place like this: a gut mass].
I knew I had a shot at a medal,
but I didn’t push off right
at the end. But, it was [a pedal],
I enjoyed it anyway, right]”
