Poets Pen

Flower gardens glow in natures grasp as ink flows to pen setting free emotions happiness or disrepair There will also be the brute wearing robes of biblical sheep Fooling not the serene, wisdom shall prevail Teeth in flesh may draw blood and tears Triumph comes from wisdom and truth ignorance, one days runs out of blotters ink selfish minds will never swim the oceans of the human heart Those who sing dear lullabies while stealing babies in the night slavery lives in such darkness lets illuminate what is gratuitous When the night falls from the sky and morning makes its way enjoy the sunrises tranquility before silent crimes, murder butterflies Fall not for soothing evil tongues of ancient Babylon violins and lyres musicians bringing peace to human reverie

Hi Arthur, love the content of this write and the message given. I always believe that the poet's pen should sing the joy of the world when it can. We can see through the wolfs clothing most times. I would much rather share your peaceful garden my friend. A wonderful poem. Such strong visions painted by wise words my friend. have a wonderful weekend. your friend always....Mike.

A pen is a mighty weapon, Arthur; hopefully it will be used to spread good not evil. Your pen shows the way. Regards // paul

Surely there are those with "soothing evil tongues," sometimes draped in "sheep's clothing," who employ sly means to attack or spread lies. Let's try to hold onto wisdom and truth for they are our best defense from such predators. Excellent message conveyed through many vivid images, Arthur! Hugs, Carolyn

I prefer the peacefulness of your garden over the cruelty in the rest of the world, Art.

Powerfully penned Art, our words in poems and comments can be interpreted or mis interpreted in so many ways, but I don't fall for lies and false praise. :-) hugs Jan xx
