Poetry Soup

Poets sharing their hearts and souls Openly and honestly with each other Expressing their deepest feelings Truly understanding and caring Rights of others shall be respected Yearning to offer everything we can So much variety, the spice of life Opens many doors of knowledge Understanding others views on life Provides us with each others blessings You know not a day goes by that I don't feel like I should do more to show you all how important you are to me. I love you all and I'm not ashamed to say when your poems are sad I cry, when their happy I laugh and when they teach I learn. "Provides us with each others blessings" Thats what the soup is! Thank you "Team Poetry Soup", Michael

Wow!!! A great write. Your feelings for the poetrysoup fraternity are invaluable -we share it. Your poem makes me feel important. I must confess in all humility that I for one am a great believer in giving. Whatever I have I give away through my poems. Strangely enough the poetrysoup members give me much more in return. They deserve a tribute. Thanks for your lovely comments on my poem The Defaulter featured this week. -Mohammad

Isn't it amazing, Michael, how this site can get under your skin...and go right straight to the heart? I would have laughed at someone else, had they told me this long before I logged on.....now it is my daily reward after a long day of doing all my necessary tasks. The friendships are so gratifying, and the hearts are so warm...your heart is giant size! :) Carrie

Michael your the broth in the soup that keeps us all together in closeness and in love. Your loving and kind words are felt deep my brother in Christ. The rest of us are little vegetables, and ingredients working together to make the heartiest bowl. We all gravitate to the broth which is you. God bless you michael and your family. Michael Torres
