Poetry Planets

There was a time that I never wrote Like in the dark days before creation I spent my days in whirling hazes of service and devotion to others- but all this moment-by- moment emotion- spun out like a galaxy forming planets And now in quiet contemplation- I get to name them Suzanne Delaney

Suzanne, Congratulations on your nice win. Thank you for all the time you took supporting and entering my contest this past year 2015:-) I'm taking, this time, to explain how I really enjoyed every entry. I truly wanted to place every poem, but two with high placements. However, it is a contest and with all the bickering going on about the way we judge our contest. I did not place everyone the way I wanted to in this contest. I do APOLOGIZE. Please don't be upset if you are sharing a placement or did not make the top 10. I feel every poem, should have been placed high. Stop by my latest Blog "Favorite Type of Poem" when you'd like or have time. Celebrate by sharing with us, Your Favorite type of poem. Have A Blessed Year. Love SKAT

Wow!...This is a true mind blower, SuZ!...The way you connect poetry with the universe is amazing...My theory is that the song, poem, etc. has always been out there, just waiting for us to pick up the signal and make it our own...Great verse! - Tim

Suzanne, your thoughts are always so interesting and unique. Though the times before I wrote is my childhood years full of wonderful memories, I too, refer to them as the "dark days". There's something about putting names and words to feelings that you feel you can better understand them... and enjoy them for long times to come, well after the feelings have long passed. Amazing title, btw!

This is great, we truly are the creator of Worlds. One of the first jobs God gave us was to name the animals. Now we can apply those skills to our writing.

It is indeed a blessing to add our own sense of reality and meaning to what we perceive around us - and the way you have done / are doing through your poems are creating beautiful names which add meaning to the ordinary. I always enjoy your imaginative creativeness, SuZ. Thanks for sharing... David
