Pray, it's been only a while since I've become a poet Though books and words have always been my pet Ever since I was young in age It's only been a few years since poetry became my main advantage Being a poet helps me be at peace with myself Sharing my mysterious lines does keep me good in health I do calm my temper through my created poems I do even calm down my pain through poems, poems do be my life's soothing balm! Being a poet helps me smile to the world When it does appreciate my made up word Being a poet does help me find life worthwhile Why, being a poet does allow me to tread on life's difficult mile Being a poet does soothe my soul Why, knowing that I shall remembered after my death Does help me be in this world, which is for me, so awful Being a poet is, my friend, the best thing that did happen to me!
