Poetry In Emotion
The simplistic beauty of a fair line
Arrived at through the process of boat design
Is the best example of perfection I’ve yet seen
Lofting my lines and building pattern boats
Has further emphasized this opinion
It has also altered my perspectives
in viewing boats
In much the same manner as masonry
has made me see a well built fireplace
Or carpentry has me see siding touching rooftops
My daughter rides and sees more in a horse than I
I paint and see more hues and shades of color
Than I ever did as a child
I’ve been an avid reader since the age of four
Have written enough to appreciate
authors of merit and recognize opinions
The simplistic beauty of a fair line
Is true
