Poetic Inhalation

There is an art to expressing emotional existence. Like a gentle breeze whispering to spring petals, but sometimes our tongues are too tired to speak. In the tender spaces where silence roams, to heal, I release thoughts to swim with metaphorical ripples, floating slowly through waves, kissing sandy shores or merging with the sea. Words forgive and soothe when weaved freely, like a reminder of cleansing sentimental lyrics, which reset the mind to allow the heart to calm.

There is an art to expressing emotional existence. Which is why I consider myself a wordsmith, not a poet.

Ah you did this so well i can almost hear you reading this as this is so very you how you write for especially spoken word poetry. But in the most poetically evocative manner. I love and felt the depth of your lines and i believe most of your readers would. I especially love the lines “ Words forgive and soothe when weaved freely, like a reminder of cleansing sentimental lyrics,“ how true and profound! Hits home! “ silence roams, to heal, I release thoughts” impeccable’ BOL for the contest

I like this one. Sometimes we can let go of our pent-up emotions and let it rip in a poem. I will have to remember this one when I am feeling out of sorts. Thanks for sharing and for dropping by my page. Sara K
