We fight our battles with words Words can defeat armies Words are supremely important Poems from many lands are available to you Read outside of your cultural background ! Life rolls on in the metropolis At Poets House in New York City There are tens of thousands of poetry volumes! I urge you to visit the place Let us pray that poetry will lead to peace in the Mid - East, Africa Asia and South America VERY small chance of that We can however pick up our pens And hope our words do some good for humanity - long suffering humanity

I believe that words can heal in many ways by both reading and writing them... Let's hope our words are doing good and bringing peace somewhere on earth... A very inspiring poem, Matthew. Really great writing!... Have a Happy Birthday :)

I so very agree with all that Jan Allison has said. The world would be a better place if all human beings could get along with each other and spread the news that there is a higher power in writing or saying wise words to one another. light, laugh, love and many hugs..... Theresa
