Poet Tree

A leaf that tumbles in the air And drifts upon the ground. A person who sighs and smiles With eyes that speak no sound. Poetry is rooted in the earth, And flies upon the wind. It is not a sonnet nor a verse, It’s a feeling from within.

This poem reminds me our national poet (Eminescu ) standing with his lover (dreaming) under a happy tree whose flowers are scattered by their kiss. It’s a feeling..,

At last! - A new poem from that greatest of all poetesses. This is such a sensitive little piece - the leaf that tumbles...the sighs...flying on the wind. I just love it. And I love you too. daver

Yes, Mikki... 'a feeling from within'... sometimes so hard to release... (though you seem to do so with ease)... Terry (you seem to have 'taken a break'... I hope you start once again, sooo...)
