Listen to poem:
We leave our separate solitudes The shells in which we coil To search for seeds of hope In the seabed's saturated soil Trawl the crowded seas Of the white page The glassy bubbles of thought Flutter and escape and rage The golden moment that redeems The months of splintered time Deep sea diving For the inner heart rhyme

Gosh Sam this is so incredibly poetically written. Expressed with the depths of the ocean! So much conveyed here. Great rhyming, flow, alliterations. So profound and so creative’ The glassy bubbles of thought’ ‘ For the inner heart rhyme’. Divine! It’s a fave for me too as I find it truly inspiring. Have a lovely weekend talented poetic friend. Hugs and smiles xx :):)

Wowww, this poem is definitely getting a FAV from me! The depth, emotions and profound wordsmithery.Everything has enchanted me, really! I am also loving those marine imageries, they really sing to my soul in a unique way.Just as you began with"We leave our separate solitudes..seeds of hope"True, life asks us to leave our comfort zones and experience its different adventures. The alliteration is so beautifully flowing throughout,"The glassy bubbles of thought","For the inner heart rhyme"Love this

Dear Hiya, I am so thrilled at your encouragement, seriously. Phrases like "profound wordsmithery" I receive wholeheartedly but feel undeserved (not false humility). You are a kind soul. I am grateful for you :))

Brilliant alliterations and flow of words, i love how creative your diction is fitting an oceanic theme, to express and describe a poets desire in such a profound and moving manner. Very heartfelt and i especially love the line “ In the seabed's saturated soil“ love that! “ glassy bubbles of thought“ creative! We keep sowing seeds of hope, yes, amidst all that which is around! We search for the inner rhyme through splintered time yes! The depth of those words hits strong! Pleasure always reading

Dear poet, if your heart tells you it is for you, it is. If your soul lights up with these simple words, they are words you need in this moment on your journey. I take no credit, but am humbled to hear you say that. Bless and thank you, Susan :))
