Poems of Accord
Some people search all over the place
But, I won’t shed a tear for you yet
Shatter this heart of glass and reflect…
I wish you the best time of your life
My self-esteem’s growing weak – I scream
Do you consider my pleas, dear one?
I won’t shed a tear for you no more
Yeah – I’m not worth anything to you
I lack man strength – you must push forward
The walls on all four angles close in
Thanks a lot for nothing these past years
I have to deal with this…depression
And I wonder why I trusted you
You were unexpected company
I never knew you were so heartless
Now, I’m becoming so hideous
Stay away from me…let go of guilt
Slip your feet in my shoes – soon, you’ll know…
The pain that is hidden in my heart
We collided like a waterfall
We avoided a childlike free-fall
The horrid emptiness of it all
I look up to you, faith in my heart
You’re mighty – you look down upon me
I read you my poems of accord…
You fell fast asleep, warm in my arms
You’re no longer blue, warm in my arms
