Poems Are Transparent Poets said it is apparent my poems are transparent As an intellectual quality seeming to be inherent In each poem of mine being written by me What should I do to make poems much better be? Could start by verbs correctly conjugating Be patient when writing and longer waiting Never do create poems discovered despairing Make full of feeling and people for caring. Doubles negatives make sure you denounce On dangling participles be prepared to pounce Even if difficult, damnable and very disturbing Bad and belligerent language should be curbing. Remember adjectives pretending to predicate And adverse to adjectives after having fill of it If for correct grammar at table you are pining Should start serving some sentence outlining. At end of poem all these factors are combined Composure of poem is well-defined and designed After each effort error dropped off and did disappear You became either Frost, Browning or Shakespeare. I forgot and did leave out my other two favorites who are Ogden Nash and Will Rogers. Combine them all together and that is what my poetic prowess consists of.
