Poem About Soils

I envy the soils from which they say God made me Their strength surpasses that of a million soldiers Who stamp harder on it without sinking To meet the waters beneath the earth. I admire it's courage, That made it obey the word to fill up all the waters That dressed the entire universe before existance. It never grows old or weary Of holding us above the fires of hell beneath it, Feeding all the life it was used to make, Eating from all the life that surrenders to death And tolerating our ungrateful souls that dictate, What should be done with and on them. It's tolerance towards us is beyond understanding Watching us lie on top of it under the sun, Taking from it without ever thanking it, Yet praying to it when tough times engulf us During the hardships of famine and calamities! Nevertheless, The soils live to obey their master,same God we serve To sustain us as long as he says so;
