Plutonian Eagle

As I die no one holds my hand I leave As I die no one stands by I sleep As I die no one comes near I wait In the corner are hush hush whisperers I listen In the corner are angled faces I speak In the corner are doorways hidden I watch On the ground my body feels chained I sink On the ground my body feels heavy I drown On the ground my body feels pain I writhe While I burn in silence, time is quiet I hide While I burn in silence, time creeps by I shrink While I burn in silence, time stands waiting I fade From the ashes I will renew this life I climb From the ashes I will not be caged I fly From the ashes I will find the wind again I rise
