Please Help

By Elton Camp It was a heart-wrenching sight A family in such a sad plight Pregnant plus having a small child She held a sign, hopefully smiled “Please Help,” the sign did plead Who could ignore such a dire need Kind people it was easy to spy Money poured from passers-by When she decided to call it a day She was whisked off in a regal way Into a Mercedes-Benz she stepped To the dismay of those who helped She, her son and an unknown man Laughing just as hard as they can Counting the money with delight It was a most disgusting sight They arrived at another parking lot Then, even more charity they got Such greed may be an isolated case But reproach the two rightly face
