Pleasant Picture

Brush in hand I gaze at the scene How can i paint, its beauty within. How to interpret whats before my eyes The amazingly beautiful sunrise. The colours of orange and  red The shape of the clouds  overhead The insects going about their work The buzz of bumblebee is oft misread I wash the canvas with a pale hue Adding the oranges and reds to merge Carefully putting an insect or two Standing back i observe That nature can't be bought By the inaccuracies of sight Just a flat pleasant  picture Is all that is achieved tonight.
