Playing With Darkness

She sinks into the dark abyss feeling lost. Tendrills of darkness curl around her, burning her flesh. A cold, dark venom seeps into her heart. Tears stay frozen in place, unmoving in the darkness. Her memories flash through her head like they're on a movie screen. Just as she's about to be consumed by the darkness she see's a narrow tunel of light. She remembers her friends. She remembers her family. She remembers the one she loves. The light grows larger and closer. She floats to the surface, encompassed in light.
