Player Poet
Alluring me with your words, you did
In bits and littlest tunes, I was in
With soft rhymes, I became the theme
Each stanza you knitted, I found the answers
Lucky me, my cheerfulness exceeded
Lucky me, each new composition endeared
Lucky me, I was a kid again
Running and laughing in the meadows without care
But why was the polish so confusing?
Why were there more questions than answers?
Why were the signs so risky?
Why did your massaging arms only leave trauma?
Poet's muse not captivating anymore
Blinding words, of a poet player
