pink and orange kitchen
I think my kitchen shall be orange and pink I said.
Many made fun of this, including my uncle mean Ted.
I stuck to my insights, and designed it with much thought.
What I know of design I was born with, it cannot be taught.
Now people come from miles around to ooh and to ahh.
What does Uncle Ted say now? I asked his brother, my pa.
He still doesn’t like it, thinks it is too girly, said Dad.
This may be one of the nicest compliments I’ve ever had.
