Pieces
The tickets are purchased
the timing is right,
Peace and happiness surge,
We leave at the stroke of midnight
Awaiting a fresh start,
a pleasant sense of pressure;
Opening a piece of my heart,
beginning a new adventure
Nothing but the open road
All the pieces fall to their space,
The future is left to unfold;
On the road to our new place
