Pick Yourself Up
One of these days you will see.
Just how much you long to be free.
Strip off the chains that bind you here.
Setting your soul free without any fear.
Do not show me that you can do it.
Show yourself, get up from where you sit.
Life will not fall freely into your lap.
Wake up from your delusional nap.
Quit being a victim to your circumstance.
Push back, show them you're ready to dance.
See yourself as a worthy human being.
I know sometimes believing is seeing.
You always seem like you know it all.
But the problem is you still manage to fall.
Do not be afraid to seek proper advice.
Be careful of those who aren’t very nice.
Look forward to the blessings to come.
Just humbly accept who you have become.
