Photograph By Laura Dee October 5, 2014 She looks at me I look at her She sets me free I am the cure She gives a smile I send my own She stays a while I set the tone We make a dream A flawless plan We find the gleam And join our hands We walk the aisle They laugh and cry We walk a mile No reason why The kids will grow We set the pace Our love will show This sacred place But deep inside I'll hide the lie This isn't mine I'll slowly die The kids will grow And so will we We'll get real old And tell good stories But as I look Into her eyes She sees the book It's hollow lies She's see the life The one we share We see the knife My lifeless stare I'm letting them go Their joy and tears At least I will know I won't let her near So I walk away And she does the same The moment slowly decays And we find ourselves a new name We smile to ourselves Cause now we know Somehow we show We'll never be the same Never be the same... I interpret this poem as someone living a lie in the wrong body and finally admitting what they really want and undergoing the change -hope I have interpreted it correctly - great deep write with good imagery:-) hugs Jan xxx

Yeah you actually hit it pretty close! It's about being transgender. And seeing girls that are attracted to me. Knowing that I can't be what they want me to be
