She looks at me
I look at her
She sets me free
I am the cure
She gives a smile
I send my own
She stays a while
I set the tone
We make a dream
A flawless plan
We find the gleam
And join our hands
We walk the aisle
They laugh and cry
We walk a mile
No reason why
The kids will grow
We set the pace
Our love will show
This sacred place
But deep inside
I'll hide the lie
This isn't mine
I'll slowly die
The kids will grow
And so will we
We'll get real old
And tell good stories
But as I look
Into her eyes
She sees the book
It's hollow lies
She's see the life
The one we share
We see the knife
My lifeless stare
I'm letting them go
Their joy and tears
At least I will know
I won't let her near
So I walk away
And she does the same
The moment slowly decays
And we find ourselves a new name
We smile to ourselves
Cause now we know
Somehow we show
We'll never be the same
Never be the same...
