Phoenix Rise
The love within me was low and I
was afraid it had died,
It did, only to rise like the Phoenix,
to live again.
Taking a musical and video journey into
the past I was re-acquainted with The
Most High, so that I had to Sanctify myself again.
Then in the video half of my journey I watched
as infinite universes were just beginning to unfold,
their splendor, colors too beautiful, they blew my mind.
I'm going through this journey because I know it is
to prepare me for the future.
New hope, new focus, new expectation and my heart
is slowly rising, newly washed, out of the ashes it is stronger,
wiser than before; less harmful to myself or others.
Nothing which God claims as His own ever dies because
we are His beloved; continually remolded, transformed into
the likeness of Jesus.
Famous band I must quote, "You can never win or lose if
you don't run the race."
Losing in this life can often be the battle that is won.
Achilles' felled by an arrow that lodged in his heel but he
is still a legend.
Like Jesus who gave up His life for all of us, rose again.
His immense love for us is a circular spin, a magnetic pull
beyond strong, which will most assuredly pull us deeper
into Him - we who are His beloved.
