A cool viewpoint in a lovely Senryu. Hey, just keep pumpin' out the poems. You have a fine way with words. Although it does puzzle me that you ignore me...at the same time, it doesn't bother me. I wrote a poem a few months back about my feelings about commenting on poems to simply rack up comments in return. My poetry stands for itself, though it does not appeal to some people. Your poetry DOES appeal to me. A thank you may be customary after 10 plus positive reviews, but it is not a sure thing

Hmmm, intriguing viewpoint and I sometimes find myself in the undertow of these. However, my feet and the rest of me always end up cleaned by the power of the water :).

Very thought-provoking senryu, Russell. In life some of us learn to ride the waves and others don't go in the water. Unique perspective in this amazing poem! Love, Carolyn

This leaves me with a negative, defeatist feeling. Is that what you intended? I like the visual.

I stand on the shore and listen, and feel all the implication you are saying. Lovely dear friend!
