Perspective of a View
"Couldn't see the forest for the trees," we say.
But still on we rush to another day.
We forge ahead; forgetting our trust,
Living our lives in the throes of lust.
Focusing hard on goals at the end;
Sight lost of truth, each detail can bend
In totally different directions,
Bringing crossroads, choices - reflections.
Revealing our value and our purpose
Hung upon things that make life a circus.
Life's masterpiece is not easily seen,
Only viewing lines and spaces between.
We need to step back, absorb the whole,
Light and dark - mixed, blended - so
Stop; pause a bit; don't judge so quick,
Our story till it's ended.
