Perspective
We are the United States of America,
we rule the land, air and sea.
Our Stars and Stripes will wave forever,
there is no other place I’d rather be.
We have been let down and lied to,
it’s just politics, it’s nothing new.
I won’t ever give up on my country,
I’ll always be loyal to the Red, White and Blue.
Equal rights, and the pursuit of happiness for all,
these are some things we need to enforce.
We hail from all over the globe,
you’ll never knock us off of our course.
I will pay for each gallon of gas,
to complain, there is no need.
We have all fallen on hard times,
but our seat’s still good and our nose won’t bleed.
