Persian Breed
Some kind of mystic turquoise, my cat’s eyes
polishing lenses for a deep gaze
of twilight that floats in old lace,
as she lounges on wet grass
much like a Persian queen
with restraint power…
her feline movements
gliding subtly
in hours
deep.
Oh
trees bow
in her presence
quite mysterious…
turquoise eyes watching
hounds roam along wild grass
yet… sheer bravery reflects
her Persian vein of confidence
endowing nightfall a cunning grace
as tigress within bears famed ancestry.
