Perfect

I am sorry I can’t be what you want me to be. You wanted to be free. I want to be that beautiful and outstanding girl. So I have to give it a whirl. I tried my hardest to be perfect. But all I am now is a suspect. A suspect that tore myself apart to impress you. We fit like glue. At the end, you wanted me to change. Which I thought was strange. Since you said you will love me the same. And now I am the one to blame. Why did you want me to change into someone I am not. All we did was fought. I just want to know why you would want to change me. Since I was your honey bee. I just wanted to fit your standards. Slandered words. Slander. Perfect people aren’t real. I don’t know what to feel. Love me or hate me. That’s all I can see. Every girl is beautiful in their own way. Even if a guy can’t stay. Stop saying that I have to be perfect. I want to have respect. I will be whoever I want to be. Take a knee and be free.
