Peaceful and Lovely

Out on the deck, before going to bed, I was captured by the glow of light overhead. The bright moonlight, was so widely spread. Touched by stars, creating a glint of red, with a streak of silver like a glistening silken thread. All in a cloudless sky, promising fair weather ahead. The wind is soft and gentle, there are no storms to dread. A night so peaceful and lovely, into it's dream, I was led.

i envy you living on the ocean, Sandra. However, I do like it here just as well. peaceful thoughts and peaceful sights and sounds would definitely make for a peaceful evening and a very peaceful poem:)
