Peace and Serenity

Peace and serenity, these things I crave, Wisdom and Knowledge, for these to, I do yearn, Alas, as for most things in this life, They are treasures that we each must earn. Of knowledge, it will take but a lifetime’s effort, Fore the begetting of Wisdom. Of Peace, and its Serenity, Your life’s toil, your hearts pains, your minds endeavours, Or worldly gains, All of these, will but amass, to your grave, For only then, are these two, to be known. In all, these things will come to pass, Even though it will take an age to encompass. I shall strive to gain Knowledge, and seek, for Peace, For should I pass without them, Would not a Mans life, Have been in Vain. Clement Hardy.
