Paulette -2

She pirouettes at the hall of fame, Magnifying swan-silhouettes in delight As silky red wings are in glaring flame, She pirouettes in the hall of fame Red Swan of Night is Paulette’s name. While audience applause from left to right, She pirouettes at the hall of fame Magnifying swan-silhouettes in delight. Dec. 31.2021 2.27pm ADDITIONAL POEM OF MINE CLIMATE CHANGE by Lgg Our mother earth is now derailing from its plain path, Path that leads to a continuous sustenance of our lives; If no indomitable spirits to hinder, no one survives, Our planet will soon collapse by the catastrophe’s wrath. Catastrophes are caused by detrimental effect of climate change, Known as global warming, a crisis of our time – so intense! It’s an earth’s long term massive change of temperature, Caused mainly by human activity, polluting it to the core. Mother earth’s atmosphere is largely paralyzing, Due to greenhouse gases that dominate…suffocating! They trap the sun’s energy on the surface of the earth, Making home planet much hotter, so I’ll take off my shirt. Let’s name some human activities emitting greenhouses, They’re burning fuels forming heavy smog- it mazes! Our waste products, factories and cars causing air pollution, All contributed by the tripling increase of world’s population. Climate change effects are vast droughts, diseases and floods, Typhoons that will destroy people, animals and crops-so sad! Climate change will melt tons of ice glazers in the oceans, Increases water levels jeopardizing small and big islands. If we, humans are the problems, why can’t we make solutions? Let’s all start planting trees, reuse, recycle and reduce pollution; Avoid land transformations when building infrastructures, Make our surroundings clean, let’s save Mother Nature!
