Patience of Life

Life is but a dream waiting to happen Always out of reach yet barely attainable For those who have tasted and savored A forever road striving to arrive awaits Illusions of reality, reality of illusions Voids unfilled, lessons learned, life's amiss Instincts of intuition pass through one's mind If to walk in their shoes would we see the same Leagues of experience tread this life Standing still on a vertical impasse awaits Swaying to reactions of actions conversed Reassess to reacquire what may be lost Fortunes told, treasures lost and won Unchartered territories on horizons rim Wishful thinking to all who dream The goals to conquer are life's gambles To compare the depths of here and now Is natures link to unrelenting pursuit Inhibitions casually laid to rest aside Just once take the risk, it is worthwhile.
