Patchwork

Patchwork I made this patchwork piece With tiny colored pockets, For convenience and ease For stuff I can find and get. A box of matches in there, Two candles for quick light, In case there's loss of power It's a piece made just right, The house design is life, The matches, my passion. And wisdom in any strife Are the candles I own. The patches are my days Tears, joys, and seasons It will soon fade away The house in me hangs on. Cynthia Buhain-Baello~~~03.29.16
