Pastel

Pastel Easter dresses dance 'pon the horizon. An orange-red sun cast a flame through the pines; and upon the clouds lavender glows while the roosters songs sing to greet the morn, and in my depths I wonder what this day will bring. Down where the Japanese Magnolia blossoms. Its deep pink buds signal spring, while birds sing and their mate hums. Sun's beauty at daybreak has changed to pale yellow. Its illumination has a wonderful sunny glow And tender leaves quietly grow 'pon weeping willow Being stirred by the gentle spring breeze and touched by sun's glow The quiet peace that fills my being will soon be Just a memory but that peace recalled can be the key A form of poulter's measure..
