Passed Life
In a land of cosmic lullabies
A dawn without a sun
Where confusion strikes in shadows
And light returns the shun
Peaceful darkness taking hold
Thoughts dissolve away
No more warped memorials
To tease them where they lay
Walking on a salty plain
Floating on the wind
Life and death exist as one
Till lives of old rescind
Simple truths unfolding lies
All things die alone
Until we wake again from love
On waves of time unknown
The past is all but memory
The future - lost in time
Entangled in the web of life
In dreams before their prime
One more life passed to the next
One more time to fly
One more chance to make amends
To live, to love, to die
