Pardon My - Part 1

PS : NOT REALLY A POEM, I WAS JUST TRYING SOMETHING :-) He: “You look a lot distraught. Pardon my rudeness; But I could not help but notice…. May I take a seat……?” She: A soft shrug He: “A damsel like yourself, Shedding a multitude of tears. Quite unacceptable. What has bothered your heart so?” She: Please kind sir, I would need no company. He: Pardon my impulse; But your face looks ever so familiar. Perhaps, I could lend an ear. Why torture yourself with a silent cry. She: A silent cry I do not possess. A world of emptiness is what I have. Apart from a few cats and dogs. So please be on your way. I prefer being by myself. He: Pardon my stubbornness. It’s in my nature, though once it cut me deep. I could not possibly stir from here. What kind of a man would I be? She: A man that of noble respect. For my privacy I would like to keep. Now if you will excuse me, I will present myself somewhere else. © Herzel Poshiwa
