'paradoxical'

She always wore that jacket with pride she could hide behind its colorful display mesmerized them with her beauty they never saw her sneaky game I play with their minds you see today I'm happy I’ll splash color all over me red, yellow, green, a shade of crimson too by midday the rainbow might have disappeared like they tend to do then, I’ll be the morbid reminder I’ll steal their joy for a little longer come with me to the colorless realm you'll see the grey let it envelope you I have some drama don't you see come be morbid just like me

What comes to mind is what is being caught in a web of deception. I like how this read and how easily it caught the reader and pulled them in. Great poetry !!

You are anything but morbid but the poem has a personality that begs some thought on your color turning grey

Wilma, rainbow's, beauty, colourful, you had me way up there in the clouds, then hit me on the back of the head with morbid, you sure do have drama, but I love it in a crazy sort of way...David

Hmm, a very enigmatic write you have here, Missy-- I wonder what brought this on???? I love your title for this, for some reason, I just love it--haha. And I loved that last two lines, especially the last one ;), don't be surprised if I take you up on being morbid, lol.... what can I say, this really made me think and I love that it did, haha this just has that twisted circus feel to it for me, heehee. mwahugs!

Hi Wilma-I like this.Like the way you've written it ,how it reads.I think the emotion you've shown, though at first might appear understated is actually quite strong and therefore can have an effect on the reader.Well it has me!Love the title as well.Clever piece.Enjoyed it.Thank you. Love June(Sylvia)
