Paradox

Oh prison cell where I reside Castle of my wounded pride I’d ask for help, to be set free Alas, I hold the only key! My hand against the bar, the glass The darkest shadows of my past I wrote a twisted ugly plot My Genie’s in a bottle locked Stars shoot through the open sky I make no wish, you wonder why? Too scared I am, to count to three And find you staring back at me.
