Paradise Lost
Paradise lost
Youthful memories is all that I have to cherish,
Agony of losing a dear one how can anyone embellish?
There were times my thoughts were so positive,
Your love my life, I was always imperative,
Now living in past, there's hardly any charm,
Once so bubbly, I now remain calm,
Redness of my cheeks is on a fade,
Glowing thoughts, now a weary jade,
Your sweet words are my prized possession,
Diary that once giggled, is a teary succession,
Still I hold it dear, very close to my heart,
Although enough to tear my soul apart,
Orangery of my twilights is covered with frost,
Without your passion, I am in a paradise lost !
