Paradigmes
I will lock my paradigms in a dungeon
to see the world through clear lenses
sometimes I wish I were an onion
people would cry if I suffer from a menace
who doesn't cry when an onion is cut
It would be like forcing empathy
my poem is silly cuz I'm such a nut
and the tears for an onion is due to chemistry
I just wish people were more understanding
but I also know that I need to be too
Our tenure on Earth is not everlasting
and life is too short to be blue
I just wish people would walk a mile
in other people's shoes
exchange love and smile
think of more than paying dues
What I want from people, I haven't done
cuz my own shoes I did not pull off
if we were barefoot, we would see the sun
so, let's hit off, get off then break off
Let's get the rid of the paradigms
Let's get the rid of self-love
Let's find the right rhymes
love each other and free a white dove?
