Parachute Jump

Will you still love me when I am away, away in some distant land of war and peace. Will you forget about me when I fly away? Will I parachute jump back to find an empty home, where all our promises of love have been broken like the shattered glass on the floor I found on my return? Was your love conditional upon my physical presence and not on my heart's omnipresent love? I loved you and now you are gone. I came back as I said, but you did not stay.
