Pandemic Sorrows
Wrath of nature
reaching out
a pestilence
hunting for souls
gold in their hearts
silver in their hair
grandparents
invaded
struggling to breathe
a lonely room
no family allowed
where is the love
taking a last breath
there is no embrace
there is no goodbye
there is no time
leaving memories
tomorrow starts
another day
one less candle
