"Under the English Elm, no seed to grow, and tolerates salty soil, fervent within visible for hope for the future." Quote by poet The old oak tree soaks in the sun's pure soul Painted baby-blue heaven's gifted shade. Refreshing, in such delicate control. The old oak tree soaks in the sun's pure soul Until last of the day's labor does fade, Rapidly breathing in deep the nights whole. The old oak tree soaks in the sun's pure soul Radiant exchange which nature is made. 3/27/2023 Poetry Contest: Writing Challenge - 'P' Words Sponsored By: Constance La France

Dear Eve, I love poems about trees and the birds in them. I wrote about my old oak, too, in the past. I love your first line especially. :) Congratulations!

I do love trees Eve. This is fine write about them. Mine are just now beginning to lose last years leaves. As far as I know they are the only hardwoods to keep their leaves until spring, even when they are brown they are still beautiful:)Take care:)
