Paint Them Red

I took them blue at first Without the consequence But jealousy took the best of me And so I paint them red So old but so comforting Not a single mind or care But sadness grew upon them And so I paint them red Nothing needed to hold them Together they were not Soon they lost good footing And so I paint them red Walking on grids I was With angry blue beneath me They all say I took them away And so I paint them red No more could I take It got to be too hard Never have I missed anything more And so I paint them red Alone they sit now Abandoned but so loved One day they would return And so I paint them red
