Painful Endurances

I know that you love me But our pain exceeds deep Started out like best friends But now it’s blowin’ in the wind… I’m not sure how to swallow this air I can’t breathe now The screaming, the choking, the punching… Provoking No I don’t know if things will ever be the same And a lot of it my fault Cause the liquor called my name But for the last time… Cause I almost lost my life The angels crept beside my bed To put a lil somethin’ in my head He whispered, “don’t give up.” I opened my eyes and then realized I’m almost out of luck I’m prayin’ now to save our relationship There’s no one else I’d rather be with Us bein’ apart makes my stomach so sick If I had one wish It’d be to make this right overnight I know nothin’ is impossible I won’t give up the fight I really do love you with all of my heart I’m not about games So I finish what I start By: Aleasha Martin
