Thanks Agnes:-) I have just made myself a weird concoction of honey, turmeric, fresh and ground ginger and boiled water... will see if it helps! It tastes surprisingly good! hugs jan xx

Hi Jan, I can most definitely relate to this poem. I suffered from intense pain from a toothache. You described the feeling of not being able to sleep due to pain very well. I lived this way for over a month straight. I hated taking meds too, but with a pain so debilitating what choices do you have? I hope you feel better soon my friend. I'm sending you a cyber hug:-) Alexis

I remember your trouble with the toothache Alexis I hope it is all sorted now:-) I am pretty much ok in the day but trying to get comfy is almost impossible at the moment so I end up getting up at silly o'clock but at least it inspired this poem:-) I also wrote one called cherry lips inspired by sweets from our old fashioned sweetshop ...I will say no more lol lol (not good for anyone who has toothache) I will post it in a few days as i want to write for some of the contests first:-)hugs jan xx

Jan, I am not sure what type of pain this is. But it's all bad to have too much of either kind. I am fine. Have been slammed at work, and a lot of what I have to do is write technical material so, at times, it burns out my creative mind. I intend to be back a bit more soon. My best to you. I do apologize for being intermittent. Sincerely--you are a gem. Hope you are pained a lot less soon.

Alarmingly so. Minutes turn into hours, it's agonizing, well spoken, ticked off is about right.

Thanks for the advice James:-) I have turmeric power and fresh ginger, stem ginger and ginger power ( I like ginger lol) so will try it - its osteo arthritis and I find sleep evades me of late as I can't get comfortable. I know of young children with arthritis I do hope they can find ways to make their lives more comfortable:-) hugs jan xx
