Own Eyes
1/30/16
There is still so much here and in outerspace to study
In all, it ain't that funny
I got to make more money
Across the states and countries
Filled with snakes and monkeys
Regardless of whether or not the terrain may be muddy
And if many of the days are bloody
Throughout many of the Earth's cycles
I ran on the dirt in the wilds
Then realized what is worthwhile
As I looked into the flames of a burn pile
I saw her smile
With my own eyes
No lie
So I
Told her the truth, and worked to make things happen instead of letting opportunity go by
Near and far away from areas that were bone-dry
Many things are beyond our control
Light years beyond the north and south poles
Do positive and negative make a whole?
