Very clever Sara and I enjoyed. I grew up on a house on heavenly hill with many owl, and you honed in on the feeling with splendid imagery. btw: I responded to your post to my poem The Trunk but may have messed up and did a separate post if you don't get an email notification. :) Thomas

I love this one! Too funny. Owls are my favorite birds. I am always so excited when I spot them in the daytime in the wild.

Hello Sara . . . I thoroughly enjoyed your short, but extraordinarily cute poem on "Owl." My wife and I live here in Germany. (I'm an American and my wife is German.) Germany, in particular, has a very long historical attachment to Owls in their literature. Owl = Die Eule and the plural form is Die Eulen. The great big horned Owl in German is called: Der Uhu. And so we love owls very much!! I want to make sure that my wife sees your very wonderful poem here!! It got my attention. Cheers, Gary
