Overwintering

How cold people are but yet some are staying warm Hiding under a bridge but the frigid pass by like the storm Lying on a steam grate, for a while feels so great But the icy rush you on, as if they cannot wait A pallet and some cardboard, stays the cold wind But you're junking the alley, move on, will the cold never end A small candle warms the heart, so does a friendly smile But the winter is full of cold daggers, who never walked a mile A recycled garbage bag dulls the freezing rain I stay warm but I wonder, will the cold remain

John, I like how you are referring cold, as a way of the heart. I hope you are not one who throws daggers. Glad you are keeping warm. I don't have a cold heart, I have a cardboard that keeps me warm at all times. It's much cozier than a blanket ... Hope your Christmas was a blessed one. Always LINDA
