Overwhelming Gold
Another night another day
And i find the gold overwhelming
Like culture caricatures
My flaws flood with gold
Forget the scars, forget the scars
Let the gold dazzle and distract you
Let yourself be immersed
In the history of my piece
What amorous atrophy
See how the skin never mends
Never once thinking of blasphemous bullets that leave my muscles cordially corroded
Forget the melancholy mishaps mounting meddlesome lacerations
Where the simple truth is dropped like the mic and is all but scorned
Another work of heart
Place me in your museum
Gawk and stare the tourists fall prey
To their knees within the vulture circle
Propagate the legend, multiply my misery
Leave the only remnant, my emerald eyes, on display
